How to Measure
Before you measure each window stand back and have an overall look to see if there are any obstructions that might interfere with the operation of the blind like fins that stick out or handles/winders etc.
Face
Architraves
For a face measurement measure the width from the outer edge of each architrave and to get your drop measurement measure from the top of the top architrave down to where you want the bottom of the blind to sit.
Square Set Plaster
With square set plaster measure at least 70mm above the top of the window and at least 50mm either side. Then measure down how far you want to go below the bottom of the window.
Recess
To get the measurement for a recessed blind measure the width and drop of the inside of your window. We recommend that you take a few measurements across the width and choose the smallest one to make sure your blind will fit.
How to Install
Face
Architraves
To install your roller blinds on the face if you have architraves, line up the outer side of the brackets with the outside edge of the architrave and screw them in. Screw the child safety into the front of your architrave but be careful to give the blind enough space to come down without hitting it.
Square Set Plaster
For square set measure out and mark with a pencil how far out and above the window opening you measured. Place the top corner of the bracket on the pencil mark and screw it into the wall. If there is no timber in your wall for the screws to go into we recommend using Ramset Hollow Wall Anchors, click here for the installation guide on Ramset’s website. Wall Anchors can be used for the child safety as well, make sure to give the blind enough room to go down without hitting the child safety before screwing it in.
Recess
For a recess install place the outside edge of the bracket flush against the outside edge of the recess.
